It's an interesting point.  And, while we are all willing to talk faith, one of the two things people aren't supposed to talk about, it seems we struggle to talk politics.  Everything is spiritual and we are at war.  We definitely need to pray for our leaders more.  1 Timothy 2.

Wow - my silly comment, which was a response to David's comment has made a point. 

No one responded when David said he would leave if McCain won, but now people respond when I say I will leave if Obama wins.  I may have to blog about the unhealthy and growing anti-Republican bias in Christianity.  I can't help but wonder if the polarization of our politics is far more deadly than even (what we perceive to be) the worst of candidates.  Is staying and praying effectively any different than leaving?  Both are evidence of the polarization our nation is captured in.  The fact is that George is not our problem, and Obama or McCain are not our solutions.  Maybe Ben Stein is though - just kidding.

Wanting to be involved in meaningful politics somewhere, and not finding it at home,
